The System Safety Manager from each team will meet with GM System Safety SMEs to review where the team is in their System Safety work. Teams are
not required to submit formal documentation as a pre-submission for the Winter Workshop. However, teams should expect to complete the following “homework” assignment before coming to Winter Workshop:
- Review Fall Workshop System Safety training
- Prepare a single concept-level STPA
- Review the general requirements for SEFA and be familiar with the concepts
Teams should simply bring their STPA materials with them to the workshop and be prepared to review them with the GM System Safety SMEs. The STPA for this homework assignment is not expected to be fully complete. Rather, the expectation is to show where the team is in their System Safety analysis and help point out areas where the team could use help.
