Bosch Motor Review Office Hours

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Any team that is considering the Bosch motor for their architecture must attend these office hours, but it is not required that every team participate. To sign up for a time slot, teams must respond to a sign-up survey by 4 PM ET February 12. Time slots have been pre-defined to teams. Time slots belonging to teams that will not attend these office hours will be changed to open slots prior to the workshop.

Teams attending these office hours must prepare the material requested in the Bosch Component Donation Form (submit to SharePoint by 4 PM ET February 12). These office hours are a preliminary exploratory meeting, so we recognize that teams may not be able to provide all the requested documentation. The expectation is that teams will make their best effort to provide this content:
  • A brief overview of the team’s powertrain architecture and any other context needed to understand the system in which the component will be used
  • Intended use case for the component (ie, how will the component be used and under what circumstances). Expected maximum operating voltage/current. Intended use of DC/DC converter
  • Intended component integration into the vehicle (high-level). Overview of mounting of Inverter/emachine. Information regarding surrounding components. Physical/Electrical connections to other components
  • Intended method of control for the component
  • Explanation of why Bosch component is best suited to the use case over other market options
  • Intended plan to meet safety requirements (teams should reference the document “BOSCH_eDrive_BUR_AOD” which is distributed to teams as they complete their Bosch NDA)
